Not Your Airport

please don't land at an airport your airline doesn't belong at

Flight simulation purposes only. Yes, we know diversions exist.

Please, don't do this:

๐Ÿง‘โ€โœˆ๏ธ

Heathrow Tower, Ryanair 123, final 27L.

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ’ป

Ryanair 123, cleared to land runway 27L.

๐Ÿง‘โ€โœˆ๏ธ

Cleared to land 27L, Ryanair 123.

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ’ป

... ๐Ÿคจ

Notice anything slightly wrong here?

Yes, the 737 can land at Heathrow. That's not the problem.

The problem is that you've brought a Ryanair to Heathrow, and now everyone has questions.

That's not your airport! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฅบ

Instead, try this:

๐Ÿง‘โ€โœˆ๏ธ

Stansted Tower, Ryanair 123, final runway 22.

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ’ป

Ryanair 123, cleared to land runway 22.

๐Ÿง‘โ€โœˆ๏ธ

Cleared to land 22, Ryanair 123. ๐Ÿ˜Š

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ’ป

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿซก

Lovely.

The Ryanair has returned to its natural habitat.

Nobody is checking VATSIM-radar. Nobody is asking questions. Everything is as it should be.

Super duper! Nature is healing! ๐ŸŽ‰

Another one:

๐Ÿง‘โ€โœˆ๏ธ

easyJet 420, established 27R Heathrow.

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ’ป

easyJet 420, cleared to land.

๐Ÿง‘โ€โœˆ๏ธ

Cleared to land, easyJet 420.

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ’ป

Gatwick is literally right there mate

Same problem.

We're not saying easyJet can't land at Heathrow.

We're saying that it feels wrong, and you know it.

Please return your easyJet to its natural habitat. ๐ŸŸ

But what about diversions?

Yes. Aircraft divert. Airlines run charters. Aircraft reposition for maintenance. Emergencies happen. Routes change.

Sometimes an aircraft has a perfectly good reason for turning up somewhere unexpected.

That's fine.

It's also considerably less funny.

If you've just flown Ryanair into Heathrow on VATSIM because you fancied it, however, this website is probably for you.
